Thomson Reuters today announced it has acquired UAE Legislation Online from Affinitext and law firm DLA Piper and made a key appointment in the Middle East.

The Royal School of Military Engineering, a world renowned military engineering school providing training for the British Army’s Royal Engineers, has embarked on a 30 year PPP to deliver training, support services and new accommodation and infrastructure in the UK. The Ministry of Defense awarded the £3bn PPP to Holdfast Training Services, a Babcock and Carillion consortium. Affinitext was identified as the best way to manage the contract and associated change processes in a complex and demanding partnering relationship.


Affinitext has been adopted by IBM and Transport for London in the UK for the management of the London Congestion Charge contract. Affinitext have completed the roll-out of the online library and provided training to IBM and Transport for London.
